HAND CARVED AFRICAN WOODEN PANEL

This is an Authentic African, hand carved, solid wood panel depicting African animals, birds and trees. .

A fine example of traditional African sculpture, 24 animals and 6 trees hand carved in different profile depths from solid wood. Two panels are never exactly the same. This would look stunning as a statement piece in a hallway, living room or even used as a bed headboard.

CONDITION

This panel is over 7 years old and shows natural signs of age, there are glued joints in the panel 2 inches from both ends as designed by the artist. This piece is entirely handmade in rustic fashion, the artist has used rudimentary tools to cut, carve and join the wood and evidence of this can be seen in the imperfect nature of joints and small repairs carried out by the artist, this adds to its character and is normal with traditional African handmade sculpture.
